SEATTLE – January 16, 2024 – The Seattle Boat Show proudly announces Women’s Day on February 5, where women can set sail for a day of inspiration and camaraderie. With a  special Women’s Day pass, women get into the show for free and can enjoy a slate of seminars designed specifically for women, by women boaters.

In between the seminars there’s a boatload of things to see and do, with 300  exhibitors, over 800 new and brokerage boats, the latest in marine gear, gadgets and technology and a slew of fun features.

The show, with two locations, at Lumen Field Event Center and on the water at Bell Harbor Marina, opens Feb. 2 and runs through Feb. 10.

Women are free at both show locations with a special ticket sponsored by KOMO and available exclusively online, Seminars are at Lumen Field Event Center.

Expert-Led Seminars

With a carefully curated slate of seminars tailored for women, by women boaters, attendees can explore a range of topics, including: Understanding Radar/AIS, Keeping Your Relationship Afloat, NW Cruising for Newbies, No Impact Docking, and An Introduction to Wakesurfing for Women and Girls of all Ages.

Special Panels for Deeper Insights

Two special 2-hour Women’s Day panels offer diverse insights:

• Reel Women Fish: Female anglers with varying experience levels will share their journeys towards becoming skilled fisherwomen.
• Making of a Sailor: Women with extensive crewing and racing experience across different boats worldwide will discuss how they developed their boating skills and confidence.

Women’s Day Reception in the Tunnel Club

As the sun sets on this exceptional day, attendees are invited to the Tunnel Club from 4-6 pm for the Women’s Day Reception. This is a golden opportunity to meet and mingle with Women’s Day presenters and other like-minded women who share a passion for boating. Cocktails, beer, or wine will be available for purchase in the Tunnel Club until 5 pm.
