Kids Boat Building and Activities
An introduction to on-water adventure!
Young sailors and their families are invited to visit the Youth Boating Center (Booth: East 1312) to begin their boating adventures. Join the Center for Wooden Boats on Saturdays and Sunday and build a toy boat while learning about all things nautical from propulsion to knot tying, and more!
PLUS, little mariners (suggested age 3-8) can enjoy time on the water in the Aqua Paddlers boat pool. Life jackets provided and required.
United States Power Squadron will be at the Youth Boating Center Friday – Sunday (Jan. 30 – Feb. 1) making boat safety fun! Kids can learn how to select the proper lifejacket, when to wear it, and what to do in case of an accident.
